Residents recieve comfortable care while using the restroom.
At the Caring Place it is important to have safety while the resident is in
the restroom. While showering in a tub is potentially one of the most
dangerous tasks that seniors face in their home, it is inherently hazardous
for anyone, who must negotiate a fifteen-inch step onto a slippery surface,
shower stalls can be particularly troublesome for seniors as well. The Caring
Place adds the extra necessities to help the residents take baths and showers
without having to be scared of having an accident. These features make it
easy to get in and out of the bathroom. Sitting stools and extra toilet rises
are avaiable to use.
Michigan Assisted Living Homes provides each bedroom with one shower/bath,
sink and toilet.
